Testimonials

“I recently completed the Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Christine and Michelle and I can honestly say it exceeded all my expectations. The whole course was beautifully organized — from the timetable to the flow of each day — everything ran smoothly and with so much care and intention.

What I especially loved was the incredible amount of knowledge we received.

Not only were the in-person sessions deeply enriching, but we also got access to a huge library of recorded videos covering all topics in detail. This combination made the learning experience feel complete, well-structured, and easy to follow.

The trainer’s passion for Yin Yoga truly shines through. Their teaching style is calm, clear, supportive, and filled with wisdom.

You can feel how much experience and heart goes into every explanation. I walked away with a much deeper understanding of Yin Yoga — not just the physical practice, but the philosophy, energetics, meridians, and the art of holding space.I highly recommend this training to anyone who wants to expand their knowledge of Yin Yoga or deepen their personal practice.

It’s powerful, insightful, and delivered with so much professionalism and heart.

I’m truly grateful for this experience.” Nadine

Nadine

My experience in the Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Christine and Michelle was incredibly profound. I knew the training would be valuable and deeply insightful, but what unfolded went far beyond anything I could have expected.

The way they wove together Yin practice, anatomy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, the meridians, and the wisdom of the five elements created a learning journey that felt both grounded and spiritual. Every session offered a new layer of insight – not just into the body, but into the subtle, emotional and energetic landscapes within it.

What impacted me most was the permission they created for each of us to truly be as we are. There was no pressure to perform, perfect, or push. Instead, Christine and Michelle held a compassionate space that encouraged curiosity, acceptance, and genuine embodiment. I felt myself softening into a deeper understanding of my own body, and into the beauty of simply being without judgement.

This training didn’t just teach me how to guide Yin, it transformed how I relate to myself. I walked away feeling inspired, supported, and incredibly grateful. It was an experience I’ll carry with me forever.

I loved it. The course was very well organised, thorough & comprehensive. Christine & Michelle are wonderful facilitators and teachers. They brought great knowledge, variety of poses & laughter which assisted our Interest and kept our attention. For years- I have felt badly about myself when I couldn’t do certain yoga poses. I was left wondering what was wrong with me. In doing the yin yoga foundation course I learned about how different bone sizes & structure influences our abilities and limitations. This was the very freeing ‘ah ha’ moment for me. I especially liked how Christine & Michelle inspired confidence in us and taught us how to approach tricky situations and give students choice and agency. Christine’s background knowledge & years of experience is invaluable. Michelle’s Nambour Yoga Studio is a beautiful place. This set a lovely environment for us. Her thoughtfulness on the 5 elements warmed our hearts and our bellies! I would highly recommend anyone to do this course. The Yin style of yoga for relaxing, stillness & stretching is a wonderful reset in our busy modern world. Gratefulness & a million thanks to both Christine & Michelle.💐

The Yin Yoga Teacher Training I attended through Nambour Yoga Studio was amazing!

Michelle and Christine were wonderful teachers who passed on valuable knowledge about the history and function of Yin Yoga. They taught in a very informative and inspirational manner, sharing knowledge, wisdom and values about the Yin style.

It was particularly beneficial learning about the anatomical differences between individuals and how that plays a part in how a teacher should guide them with their practice. It was an experience I will treasure always. I would recommend their training to anyone looking to teach Yin in a open, understanding and supportive manner.

I can’t thank them enough for the experience.
